The mayor of Kherson — a city of over 200,000 in southern Ukraine — confirmed that Russian forces had taken control of the city council building and had imposed a curfew on residents. As of this morning, Russian troops and their Donetsk proxies had surrounded Mariupol as well. Should Mairupol fall, Russia will have a land bridge linking Rostov-on-Don with Crimea.
